Patricia Purcell, RN, MBA, is a healthcare executive with more than 30 years of clinical and administrative experience. As Owner and Administrator of AmeriCARE Buckhead, she leads with both strategic insight and a deeply personal commitment to delivering individualized, dignified care.
Patricia’s journey in healthcare began with hands-on, personal care as a private companion, an experience that deeply shaped her understanding of the emotional and practical needs of clients and families in the home. She went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and quickly advanced to Registered Nurse, ultimately stepping into key leadership roles including Inservice Coordinator, Nursing Rehabilitation Coordinator, Wound Care Nurse, Infection Control Nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, and Deputy Executive Director.
Her path shifted dramatically following a corporate restructuring. At the same time, Patricia was navigating the sacred and complex transition into marriage and motherhood while also providing generalized support and shouldering the increasing healthcare and advocacy demands for her aging parents. Faced with the rigid, often impersonal demands of corporate life, she began to seek roles that aligned with her values and purpose. Even then, something vital was missing.
A profound epiphany followed: she wasn’t being led to find a new job but was instead realigning with her true purpose. Her conviction became clear: if you can't locate it, you must create it.
From that realization, AmeriCARE Buckhead was born, not just as a business, but as a calling. Rooted in her faith, lived experience, and clinical wisdom, Patricia built a care model infused with the compassion, excellence, and trustworthy support she once longed for herself. Her work is more than professional; it is deeply personal.
Today, Patricia remains a disruptive thinker, servant leader, and passionate advocate for excellence in individualized home care. At AmeriCARE Buckhead, professional excellence meets heartfelt ministry, and every client is treated like family.

Despite moving around most of his life, David has lived in Arizona since 1996 and calls Phoenix home. If he isn’t working out daily at the gym, he is spending time at home with his dogs: two 10-year old German Shepard mixes, and two Siberian Huskies – all rescues! David feels so lucky to have his dream CAREer. Most children aspire to be astronauts, firefighters, teachers, doctors, etc., no one grows up saying that they want to take CARE of ‘old people’. However, once in a while, a special person comes along and is touched. They learn that caring for seniors is incredibly rewarding and wouldn’t dream of doing anything else. Those that have chosen to CARE for seniors, each have a moment or a special story that tugs at their deepest emotions and leads them to this path. Ask me about my story!
With over 40 years of healthCARE experience, David remains passionate about caring for others, especially seniors. For over 25 years, he has been directly involved in caring for seniors with a concentration in skilled nursing, rehab, long-term CARE, assisted living, and independent living. As a retired United States Air Force Medical Service Corps Officer, David holds himself and his team to high standards. He is also a successful businessman as an owner of several OrangeTheory Fitness studios in the Phoenix area. David joined the Air Force to serve his country, but also as a means to obtain his education. He holds a MBA with a concentration in Human Resources, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and an Associate in Applied Science in Health CARE Administration.
Roberta has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years specializing in the CARE of oncology patients as they navigate through their cancer journey. Roberta believes in providing the highest level of CARE to her patients combining evidence-based practice with a personalized approach. She is very passionate about caring for others and feels it is an honor to do something so meaningful and fulfilling as nursing.
Roberta obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, she holds her Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
When not working, Roberta enjoys spending time with her family and 3 dogs.
Alyssa Kafora has been in the health and wellness industry for 15 years. She began her CAREer in the weight-loss realm as a Center Director for one of the largest weight loss companies in the United States. As her passion for helping others continued to grow, she then transitioned to the medical field as an Office Manager for a high volume medical clinic.
Alyssa believes caring for others is exactly where she is meant to be.
Alyssa enjoys spending her time with her husband, Daniel, and 2 young boys, Jake and Evan.
