David came to the AmeriCare franchise organization with 18 years of experience managing a senior community and also a career in the Airforce serving as Medical Service Corps Officer. He recently shared the story about one of his AmeriCare caregivers that helps a client cook two hours per week. David reflected on his senior community management days saying, "It was so frustrating to have lived that for 18 years. It was all about me, or my staff, our efficiencies, our schedule, and it never should have been that way. And to know that I was doing that to our seniors...now I can do for them. [sic]"
David is proud to own a senior care business that empowers the client to set their schedule and services based on their individual needs (with no minimum hour requirements). As the administrator of a senior facility, his role required the scheduling of clients revolve around accommodating their large staff and the organization itself.
