Owner and President
Lance started his working CAREer as a teacher of adult literacy in his home state of New York. Later, he moved into business in the consumer-packaged goods space where he worked in management roles at brands like Joint Juice, Premier Nutrition and Power Bar. He eventually rose to general management as CEO at Colorado-based Love Grown Foods, Ohi Foods, and Western Rise. He has always been passionate about the opportunity to develop products and services that truly help people live better lives.
He experienced firsthand the difficulties of home CARE when his parents wanted to stay in the home they had lived in for 60 years, but just could not manage it. There were no easy solutions for their situation, and he and his siblings struggled with how to keep their parents comfortable and safe in their home. It raised the idea that there had to be more and better options for home CARE.
Lance moved to Denver in 2004 with his wife, Dr. Cynthia Wang, where they raised their two amazing daughters. He is a lifelong outdoor adventurer who enjoys climbing and cycling in the most beautiful mountains in the country which happen to be right in his own backyard.
Director of Business Development
Taylor has spent the first 20 years of her CAREer working in accounting and operations for a handful of small businesses and startups. She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
Her passion for health CARE deepened in 2011 when she became a full-time CAREgiver for her grandfather who was suffering from dementia. When her grandfather required more assistance than the family could provide, Taylor saw firsthand how CAREgivers work to provide comfort and dignity for their clients and relief to the family.
In 2018, Taylor became a Certified Advanced CARE Planner through Denver Hospice and the University of Colorado. Given the opportunity to CARE for others and their families, Taylor jumped at the chance to start up ameriCARE Denver and to invest in the CAREgivers that make it all possible. They say it takes a village to raise a child, but Taylor believes it takes a village to CARE of their elders.
Taylor also fancies herself a comedienne. She loves improv comedy and enjoys the proximity to nature that Denver offers. Pets love her, and the feeling is mutual.
