Trisha Edge is the founder of ameriCARE Fort Mill, a locally owned home care agency providing non-medical in-home care services in Fort Mill, Indian Land, Tega Cay, Rock Hill, Lancaster and throughout York and Lancaster counties in South Carolina. The agency is dedicated to serving seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities with compassionate, reliable, and personalized care wherever they call home.
A combat veteran with experience in both the medical and legal fields, Trisha brings a strong foundation of service, advocacy, and accountability to senior care. She also holds an MBA, which supports her thoughtful, well-structured approach to building systems, ensuring quality, and delivering consistent, dependable care. Her leadership is guided by her faith, shaping her commitment to treat every client with integrity, compassion, and respect.
Trisha has been married to her husband, Chris, for 26 years, and together they have two wonderful children. Deeply rooted in their faith, their family is actively involved in their church and local community. These experiences have shaped Trisha’s heart for service and her belief that caring for others is both a calling and a responsibility.

She brings extensive experience from her time at Connecticut Children’s Hospital, where she worked as a Registered Nurse on the hematology and oncology floor. Ruth’s earlier experience includes working as a certified nurses’ aide at Rockville General Hospital, where she provided hands-on care for multiple patients each shift. She also has a background in home care as a personal care attendant and home companion, assisting clients with daily living activities, transportation, and companionship—an experience that continues to shape her patient-centered approach.
