Years ago, when Riccardo’s mother fell ill with cancer, he became her primary caregiver. As additional caregivers arrived, he noticed how much his mother was comforted by those particularly attentive caregivers who knew how to put her at ease and connect with her personally. That experience touched him deeply and inspired him to combine his management skills with his passion for offering the highest level of compassionate care, comfort, and companionship to the older adult community here in Marin County.
Riccardo emphasizes clear communication and accountability with joy and gratitude. He believes that ameriCARE Marin’s most valuable asset is its caregivers. By treating his staff with respect and reverence, providing advanced training, and establishing clear standards of care and accountability, he attracts the most compassionate, skilled, and trustworthy caregivers to his team. Additionally, he fosters meaningful connection with the larger family unit, ensuring they remain attuned to their loved one’s ongoing health, well-being, and joy of life.
A native San Franciscan, Riccardo earned his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College (1995) and an MBA from Pepperdine University (2003). He enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He is a passionate car-guy, a rabid Giants and Niners fan, and a lover of the abundant outdoors right here in Marin County. He is a senior member of The Guardsmen, a philanthropic organization serving at-risk youth in the Bay Area.
