Crystal is one of our well seasoned caregivers. She has worked with us for quite some time and she is someone we all could learn from. Her willingness to help others, her amazing teamwork, and her knowledge regarding clients needs is amazing. She has taken on clients with needs that run the gamet and she leads with kindess each and every time. She is also a great team player and helps us often in taking on extra shifts or helping clients that are without care. She is built for this! Helping others is what she is all about! Ashley always has all hands on deck! She is such an eager caregiver and her willingness to jump into challenging situations is amazing to see. Working after hours, taking on heavy training to fit the needs of her clients, and always making sure she is doing her job to the best of her ability. She is praised by her clients continuously and their happiness is what warms the hearts of all of us here at ameriCARE - thanks to Ashley and her hard work and love for what she does. Mona is a beacon of light for her long term client. She takes him out for good eats, socialization, and a sense of normalcy. She goes the extra mile to being joy and happiness to her client. It's always our goal to provide and establish long lasting friendships and bonds and Mona is a prime example of it being done right! Her gentle nature and hands on approach to her clients needs is what helps set her apart! We appreciate all that you do, Mona! 

Shanna is the type of caregiver that immerses herself in providing top notch care! Her attentiveness is inspiring and her note taking is immaculate! She communicates extremely well and has assisted many families in depth, from health scares with clients to supporting widows on when a client unfortunately passes away. Shanna shows up, smile in her face, and gratitude on her heart. How awesome is it to know her and work alongside her. Great work Shanna! 

Virginia always seems to right on target with her clients. She leads with love and kindness and it just a few of her unique and admirable qualities. Going above and beyond for her clients & treating them like family is her specialty! She is a true professional and star caregiver. The bonds she has established is unmatched and her clients are elated to have her ! Way to go Virginia!

Corrina is the epitome of a hard worker. She sticks with her friends for years and beyond ! She knows what she's doing and she does it with great ease and love. She will shower you with her delicious cooking and infectious positive attitude. There is not enough we can say about Corrina but we are truly grateful to have her as such an impactful member of our Americare family. Thank you Corrina !

Loving, Kind, Caring, Attentive, & Dedicated. These are the 5 words that quickly come to mind when thinking about Alejandra. She came on and was hands on from the start. She quickly established deep and solid bonds with her clients and It was felt by everyone. She also had to soon endure the pain that comes when end of life occurs. She continues to meet each client with a smile and a heart dedicated to enhancing the life of others. We are so grateful to Alejandra !

If you were to look up the word Amazing in the dictionary, Angel would be the perfect depiction of what it means to be amazing. From constantly asking how he can be better, how he can help more, and how he can enhance his role in the lives of those who need it most. Angel is one of our amazing male caregivers who is a role model to those under him. His attention to detailed needs, his willingness to go above and beyond, and his light heart through it all. We cannot think of anyone this month is more deserving of such recognition. Stepping outside of the box is exactly what he does and it is exactly what our communities need. Someone who is not afraid to get things done and in such a way it brightens the life of someone else. Congrats Angel!

Heather is the type of caregiver everyone wants ! She is always on time, always hands on, and extremely detailed and communicative with everyone. Heather has also endured clients with great difficulty and complex cases and she has not once complained or given up. She shows up, gets the job done, and does so with love and kindness. She not only bonds with her clients , but their spouses and extended family too! She's a rockstar and truly deserving of recognition and appreciation. Thank you for being a leader, Heather!

There is so much to say about Rachael and hard to pick only a few of her best qualities. Rachael is one of our most appreciated caregivers because she leads each day with her heart. Her attentiveness and commitment is truly unmatched. She has bonded so deeply with her clients ( who are now family). She has been a hero in many situations and her eagerness to be present and truly acclimate into the environment she's placed in, is awe inspiring to say the least. We are so grateful to have Rachael on our team and a part of the Americare family.

Angel is one of our newer hires that have truly stepped up and acclimated so quickly! He came on with a lot of experience, eager to learn more, and left his previous job for us! He felt so strongly in what he does that he wanted to dedicate his life to this. What an admirable quality to have! Angel is our rockstar with our veterans! No matter the need, he can get it done. He is informative, communicative, always on time, always jumping above and beyond for others, and always willing to help. He is a true role model for our future hires and a testament to working with love and dedication. We all can be a little like Angel! We appreciate and value you and all that you do!

Virginia is not new to our winners circle ! That’s how amazing she is. It’s hard not to notice the amazing above and beyond work she does. She has been with us for quite some time now and she still amazes us with her dedicated heart and willingness to do what it takes to ensure the happiness and quality of life of those she CAREs for. From setting up clients with service animals to working on her days off to take clients to the hospital and communicate with their families – Virginia does it all! We are so grateful to have such an amazing and selfless human being on our team! She is a true example of what makes AmeriCARE great. Great work Virginia!

Zeanna has been a rock start since starting working with AmeriCARE. She came on with such an eagerness to help others as well as a dedicated heart to CARE for those she’s fortunate to work with. Zeanna juggles her load well and takes her time to be present and attentive while with her clients. She not only knows what she’s doing but she does it well! We are so grateful to have her on our team and we cannot wait to see how much she impacts those around her.

Selina has been an outstanding employee and manages with a group of CAREgivers our largest client. The client requires constant CARE 24×7 and our team has been with the family for many years. Selina brought the family to AmeriCARE Silicon Valley and the client has been very happy with the team and Selina continues with amazing support and on-time arrivals as well. She is our June 2024 champion.

Julia epitomizes the empathy and dedication we seek as an agency when it comes to amazing CAREgiving. Julia is always looking to do more and provide that level of CARE that our clients seek and we expect. Numerous examples of clients commenting on her professional CARE and dedication. Carolyn has been absolutley wonderful with my husband who has ALS. She is thorough and steadfast in her attention to all his needs. Besides the daily routine they do a lot of laughng together which brightens up the days and makes her time with him so valuable.

And Tori was so helpful in finding CAREgivers through the years we’ve been with AmeriCARE. Always responsive no matter when I texted or called. Very supportive and determined to meet our needs. Excellent!

I met Lupita while having lunch with Margaret Sutton. She worked at the restaurant and was so kind and attentive to Mr Sutton and his needs. As I got to know her, I realized she was a natural CAREgiver with a HUGE passion for caring. She expressed her desire to help others, her desire to make a difference, and asked for help on where to start. I was happy to guide her to her passion! 1 month later, Lupita has left her restaurant job, came on full time with us and Mr. Sutton, and she is doing a magnificent job! She goes above and beyond. She has been through rough and combative days with Mr. Sutton and she was so calm and composed through it all. She shows grace and love to everyone and that is such a fundamental characteristic to hold. Lupita has been hands on since taking her first shift and she is truly a diamond in the rough! From taking them to countless doctor visits across town, to taking Mr. Sutton out to movies, and keeping Ms. Sutton happy and rested as she is continuously stressed and it directly affects her health. Lupita not only is there for our client, she is also there for the wife too and that speaks VOLUMES as it often takes a village and I am so grateful to her dedication and love for her clients. Working as a CAREgiver takes a lot of dedication! Corrinna is the epitome of a hard worker. She is always willing and eager to help others and it shows through her awesome work. Her clients adore her and we do too! She has been with our agency for quite some time now and she is a shining star for us and for her client. Jasmine is a true gem. She came on once she moved here from Colorado! Not only has she brought along selflessness, kindness, and willingness, she also brought along her mom to also add to our team! Jaqueline aka “Jacky” may have gotten her nickname simply by being a Jack of all trades! She is the epitome of what it means to be a CAREgiver. Not only does she CARE for her own father, she also CAREs for a handful of other families that adore her just as much as we do. She is hands on, all in, well experienced, and truly devoted to enhancing the quality of life of those fortunate to be CAREd for by her. Kate is a ray of sunshine as she bring so much warmth and happiness everywhere she goes. From day 1, Kate has always lead each day with a smile, a few laughs, warm hugs, and a happy heart! She is a genuine and dedicated CARE provider who is both experienced and knowledgeable. Caring for her loved ones throughout her life has given her a true sense of selflessness that has driven her eagerness to help those in need. Kenia became a part of our team and hit the ground running. No matter where you are: San Jose – Hollister – Santa Cruz, no distance is too great for Kenia!This also applies to her work ethic and lengths she is willing to go in order to secure happiness , safety, and an enhanced quality of life in other. Kelly is a multi tasking rockstar! Not only is she able to provide personal CARE for her own loved ones, she does it seemingly effortlessly! Kelly juggles two schedules within one household and she maintains it with ease, love, dedication, and persistence. She is a true beacon of light that shines brightly. She is a true representation of what it takes to make a impactful difference. Thank you Kelly!

Sara works a very challenging shift. The home has little to no wifi connectivity so she improvises with her notes and storing of data. Clocking in and Out is a challenge as well as her cellular service in this area is also challenged. But this does not deter Sara from why she is there. Sara provides amazing CARE for our client and they truly appreciate her due diligence while the family enjoys their respite time which is invaluable.

Jovanni takes all shifts we throw at him! He does great & clients love him. He’s fun, great attitude, always asking questions, and detailed in his observations. He’s been a key figure in the recovery and rehabilitation of Mr. Sears & he continues to show his dedication & awesomeness.

One of our clients was without their regular CARE provider who called in sick. Mariana, while preparing for her 1 year old daughters birthday party jumps in and says, “I will help out the client”. This is but one example of the daily hero performances that Mariana provides her loving clients. Marianna is a true beacon of what being a CARE provider is all about! Stepping up on such a big day for her little one really speaks to the true dedication that Marianna possess. Not the fact that she worked on her day off , but more so the fact that she did so without hesitation. That is what separates her from others. Her willingness and selflessness that truly speaks for itself. We are so grateful and honored to have Marianna as a part of our family!

Laurie has taken on one of the most challenging cases that we have ever had. The client, who is a veteran; worked with multiple other CARE agencies in the past with little success. She took on the case and provided this veteran client the the special CARE that he needed. We are exceptionally proud of the work Laurie has provided and continues to provide for our clients.

Vic is Mr. Reliable. He shows up to every shift early and leaves feeling Happier@Home. A little known secret about Vic is he is a wonderful Chef who has worked in many of the bay areas fine restaurants over the years.

Serina took charge one early morning when upon arrival to her clients home she found suspicious surroundings and discovered the client injured and in need of emergency CARE. She called me and we had 911 come along with the clients advocate friend who escorted them to the emergency room. A true heroic and calm CARE team hero.

Meet Amanda, our CAREgiver of the Month for February! She has been a solid CARE team member since the early days of our agency and sets a great example for new CAREgivers joining our team. Amanda has taken on some very challenging cases and has always performed at a high level. Most recently Amanda has been consistently jumping in for team members in need and taking client shifts to make sure they are CAREd for. Amanda is a real hero on our team!

Meet Virigina, our first CAREgiver of the Month for 2023! Virigina kicked off the new year strong by doing what she always does – going above and beyond to ensure her clients’ needs are always met. Virigina is always on time, she’s an excellent communicator, and most importantly, she helps her clients lead more fulfilling, safe, and joyful lives.
